Part 2 – Home Improvements Gone Wrong

As we mentioned two weeks ago, there are both right and wrong ways to go about improving your homes value.  As property owners and people put in a position of responsibility over possessions, there is a powerful sense of pride and ownership when our homes are beautiful and have value.  Unfortunately, not everyone feels the same way when it comes to the long-term vision of their homes, and short cuts and poor decision making runs rampant through DIY-ers who choose to take the path of least resistance, choosing cheap over good and convenient over smart.

I feel like duct tape would have gone with the design aesthetic a lot better…
One of these things is not like the others, one of these things just doesn’t belong…

As mentioned before, there are tons of times when one should not do it themselves.

Just because we can do something, doesn’t necessarily mean we should.
