Well!  For those of you who don’t know, it’s been a busy quarter here at Swartz Electric.  Not only are we  increasing our staff to meet our increased demand for services, but we have also been recognized by the BBB for our high standards.  While we have carried an A rating with them, they recently informed us our rating had escalated to the even higher A+ rating.bbb-a -ratingBBB-A -logo-copy

This week is an especially exciting event – as our apprentice Kyle Cunningham has been recognized by the Pikes Peak Workforce Center for their first annual ‘State of the Workforce’ event.  As a participant in the Workforce Investment Act, Kyle has become the regional golden child for successful youth finding placements within the local workforce.  Greg Swartz, owner and the face of Swartz Electric, got to enjoy a celebration with Kyle earlier this month – and this week they were flown to Chicago to participate in the National Association of Workforce Development Professionals 2014 Youth Symposium.  There they got to participate in a breakout workshop on ‘Opportunity Internships’, as well as accept national recognition for their hard work and personal investment into the business and the apprenticeship.
